The Human Development Center
A place for healing, learning, and coming home to ourselves.
The Human Development Center is a place for growth, learning, and community. Through therapeutic services, professional trainings, and educational offerings, we support individuals of every age, families, couples, groups, organizations, and practitioners in cultivating greater resilience, connection, and well-being.
We invite you to explore our work and discover what resonates with you.
How We Can Help
We work with children and adults navigating a wide range of experiences, including concussion, chronic pain, developmental differences, autism, trauma histories, nervous system dysregulation, and the effects of difficult or overwhelming life experiences.
We also support people through major life transitions, relationship and attachment challenges, grief and loss, pregnancy, birth, postpartum changes, and the many ways that early experiences can continue to shape how we live and relate.
We look beyond symptoms and diagnoses to the whole person. Rather than seeing the body as something that is broken or needs to be fixed, we look for the health that is already present, even within places of pain, imbalance, adaptation, or stress.
Our work is grounded in the understanding that there is an innate organizing intelligence within each person. By supporting connection with that health, we create opportunities for greater regulation, resilience, integration, and well-being.

How We Work
Our work draws from Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, Pre- and Perinatal Somatic Psychology, birth and somatic process work, systemic and family constellations, attachment theory, and interpersonal neurobiology.
Our sessions are body-centered, trauma-informed, relational, and compassionately paced. We listen closely to the body, the nervous system, and the unique story each person brings.
Rather than trying to fix, force, or override what is happening, we create the conditions for safety, awareness, and connection. In this space, the body's own organizing intelligence can emerge and support a process of healing and integration.
We trust that healing is not something we impose from the outside. It is a process we learn to listen for, support, and make room for.

Service to All Life
Our practice is rooted in the understanding that body, mind, heart, spirit, and our relationships are inseparable expressions of a greater whole. Guided by the principles of truth, simplicity, love, and service to all life, we recognize that healing is both deeply personal and inherently relational.
As individuals reconnect with their own innate health and wisdom, the benefits naturally extend outward—strengthening families, enriching communities, and contributing to the well-being of the larger human family.
Through this work, we seek to cultivate greater presence, resilience, and compassionate connection, honoring the profound interdependence that sustains all life.
Community
We believe healing and human development happen in relationship. Our community is a place to learn, connect, share resources, and explore what becomes possible when we come together with curiosity, presence, and care.
