Our class will focus on developing a symbiotic relationship with honeybees, emphasizing comfort and ease with contact.

We will also cover:

• Assembling equipment

• Site selection

• How to get started

• Organic treatment and keeping our bees healthy

• Honey gathering and extraction

• Pollen gathering

• Going in to winter.

Class taught by Hiraman, who has been a commercial and backyard beekeeper for 50 years.
